Superstition:
“Don’t Raise the Right Hand Unless You’re Ready to Burn”
Among the Lillin, a whispered superstition warns:
“If you count five fingers, hide your thumb. The Hand sees. The Hand burns.”
This refers to the Dextra Domini, a shadowy cabal rumored to be the divine enforcers of some primordial pact. Some say they were once angels. Others claim they were forged by God’s regret, unbound from heaven but still bound to balance. In Lillin lore, they are known only as The Five—one for each finger of a right hand, each with a name kept secret, each embodying a divine principle twisted into wrathful judgment.

Sounds haunting! Are the Lillin and the five in your debut novel?
Hey there! one of the Lillin, Farhad, is indeed in Grave Matters. The Five are mentioned but don’t make an appearance as they are rumor, myth, legend.
